LFF – Learning For the Future (UNESCO IITE pilot project)
SVEGA-Computer LLC and UNESCO Institute for information technologies in education (IITE) signed a cooperation agreement in the sphere of development of educational projects using information and communication technologies, and agreed on partnership in the framework of the pilot project of IITE and UNESCO associated schools project "LFF – Learning For the Future" (about the project).
Goals and objectives:
The most important objective of the pilot project LFF is the opportunity to more fully integrate effective use of information and communication technologies in education, to renew pedagogy and enhance learning — now and for the future. The project was designed to achieve, among others, the following three objectives:
To enable teachers and students to better understand the transformation of society through the use of information and communication technologies and future discoveries are expected in this area;
To ensure an integrated and more effective use of information and communication technologies in strengthening the four foundations of teaching for the 21st century;
To develop new educational approaches and experiment and create new training materials using information and communication technologies, in support of a sustainable future and a “New Humanism”.
The pilot project of UNESCO IITE - LFF, in which the SVEGA-Computer LLC is directly involved as a partner, is of utmost importance. This is an attempt to rebuild and expand education in light of the use of available modern information and communication technologies (ICT). A pilot project is also part of an ongoing search, how best to prepare young people and to the world today and the future that awaits them tomorrow.
